The Karma Intentions

Before I set sail on this blogging adventure, I should explain the title, ‘The Karma Initiative’. Its not just a play on words from the show LOST, this title means what it says. I believe that karma is an important universal energy that we are deeply part of. Its simple; you do something good and something good will happen. You do something bad and something bad will happen. You send out energy and you receive energy. I see karma working everywhere. If I loose something, I will find something of equal value. Everything comes back full circle. Back to my intention with the Karma Initiative, I will blog about the things I encounter in my daily life and during my travels (oh yeah, I love to travel) that make me think, feel, and entertain. When I travel, I do not carry with me the responsibilities and troubles of home and everyday life. For this, I am more perspective to the little coincidences and awesomeness in the world. I send out good vibes and soon enough, I am surrounded by them. Some people think karma is a bogus, hippie thing – but I want you to know the realness of karma. Through the Karma Initiative, I share with you my stories and send my vibes. I hope you enjoy it and pass it on.

About Lisa

Here is a snippet about me. I'm a born and raised city-girl from Toronto, Canada. I've now reached my 21st birthday (90s baby) and am making my way through university while traveling when I can. My trusty Canon Rebel is my favourite companion, and I will use this blog to share photos from my adventures. I have traveled to Greece, Italy, England, Serbia, Jordan, South Africa, Hawaii, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Arizona, Florida, and New York City. When I am in my home city, Toronto, I am continuing my studies at the University of Toronto for a degree in Archaeology. I have been part of archaeological projects in Madaba, Jordan and at Wonderwerk, South Africa. I am going into my fourth year at U of T and then see where life takes me.
